Which Rover 400 has the Honda Engine?

Trying to get a straight answer on which model Rover 400 has the Honda engine fitted? Is it the 416 (1.6?)

the early shape 416's had the honda engine in both manual and automatic, the later "bubble" shape only had the honda engine in the 416 automatic. Alex P you are talking absoloute sh!t mate, the k series has always been prone to head gasket problems, the honda engines go on forever.

They all did up til 1995. 1.4, 1.6 and 2.0. They are exactly the same engine just with different bores and piston strokes. Post 1995 were largely Rover engines, and believe it or not, the Rover engine is the better of the two. Honda supplied the worst of their engines for Rover to use.
I have a 1.4 1995 N reg Rover 414.. 76k miles i'm the 5th owner and paid £400 for it.. it had its MOT last week and flew through it with nothing to do !! its a honda engine..

it will have a 16 valve engine and looks simular to the hondas made at its time as hondas were jiont conectied with rover then
