I passed by CBT this time last year. How much more fun is it to ride a 650cc compared to a 125cc?

I am unsure wether to carry on and take my full licence. I am 35 and female and worry that I might have left it too late. I don't feel very confident and I am scared of some car drivers who don't seem to have any consideration for the humble bike rider.

You go girl!
I just took a Motorcycle Safety Course and received a certificate that I have to take to the Driver's License Office to get my license, and I am 50. I am also afraid of other drivers; I see them doing dumb things all the time! I try to make sure I am very VISIBLE by wearing a bright yellow helmet. Also my summer jacket is black and yellow. It helps too when you are coming to a stop to pump the brakes a little so your brake light flashes. I would be sure that before you get a bigger bike that you can hold it up. I have weak wrists and have been known to drop mine! Stick with it, it really is fun!
The best advice I give to new riders, is pretend that you're invisible and be aware of potential hazards. Either other motorists simply don't see you, or they aren't paying attention.
It's never to late to start riding. To help build up your confidence, take a "motorcycle safety foundation" course.
Not only is it more fun, it's safer. A bigger bike has more performance (should you choose to use it), and to go with that better brakes. This means should you have a near miss you can choose to accelerate with the improved performance, or brake with the better brakes.

Think of a pushbike on the motorway. It'll be blown all over the place as cars and lorries pass by. A slower motorbike is similar. Now think how much better it is if you can keep up with the flow of the traffic and still have a bit left over for a quick overtake.

Hope that made sense.
Never thing your past it ! I'm 40 this year like you 2 years ago i got my self a 125cc bike after 9 months thought i was ready for a bigger bike so i took the test ! Hardest part was the theory. The bike test a walk in the park honest passed and brought an SV650 kept that 1 for a year went everywhere on it. Now part ex it for even bigger bike and planning to travel . only advice i have about car drivers is be big Dominate the road and when you can pass them safely and show them your rear bet it looks good in leather lol! all the best
650's are MUCH more fun. And 35 is very young. Just do it, girl!
The fun factor is hard to define but on a 650 you can get away from the dodgy car idiots. 35 is not past it [unless you ask a teenager]Come on out to play we need more women on a bike.Good Luck with your choice.
