Answers:
Phone up a few car breakers - you need to tell them if your mirror was; manual or electronic adjusted, Nearside or Offside and if it had coloured trim on the back. It shouldn't cost any more than £30. If it is one from out of you area you can get it posted to you.

Not too difficult to fit - but watch out when pulling off plastic parts in cold weather - they snap easier (warm them with Hair dryer first!) Good luck.
you can just get the mirror fixed instead of the whole lot!
If you go to one of those scrap car dealers you might get one from a wrecked clio, and save yourself a lot of money
Go to the school and find a student that is working with cars ect. ask him if he would like to make a little extra cash then show him the car problem and see if he will help you ( girls work on cars as well)

good luck
