i'll put it on my list.
enjoy my freind. Have fun
Have a look at the alloy wheel guide on matey-matey.com - that should help.
I've got 16"s on my corrado and it is great - doesn't ruin the handling, looks spot on, and doesn't shout "STEAL ME". However, bear in mind that tyres for 16"s are (in my experience) more expensive than for 15"s (or even 17"s for that matter). So if you're going to do track days, stick to 15"s!
Go to the forums on www.clubgti.com and you will get the answer to practically anything Gti related.
I have seen 17's that look great on a GTI. I really like www.tirerack.com they show you pics of what your car will look like with the rims and tires you get.
i got deep dish 17's on my mk2 they fit in there nice no rubbing with a full load
Some wheels will look good but if you get the offset wrong it will steer like a pig. Be warned, you could spend a fortune only to end up with a car that looks good but handles like s**t.
