The motorcycle started out as a variation of the bicycle. Basically it is a motorized bicycle. The original motorcycle used a regular bike frame and had a really small motor in between the bars of the frame. Even Harley Davidson started out with this type of bike.

Gottlieb Daimler is credited with the first gasoline powered motorcycle, but it actually had 4 wheels. 2 main wheels and 2 additional wheels on outriggers.
