Problem With Toyota Celica?

I am having a problem with the heater on my Celica. Basically when i'm driving around it works ok but if im stationary with the engine running for example when im in traffic it throws out cold air.

Any ideas what the problem is. I have checked my coolant level and that is fine.

Either there is a leak in the vacuum that isn't holding the heater valve open or the thermotat is defective. Good luck
stopped up heater core.
your dash fan isnt working, when the car is moving air is forced through the heater, when you are stationary the air flow stops. Could just be the fuse if not you have to take most of the dash out to replace the fan unit.
This is actually a question that you should be directing to a Toyota dealership.

Speak directly with the Service Manager at the dealership--the dealership will be able to diagnose the problem and if they do not immediately know the answer to your question, they will be able to get you an answer since they have access to a Technical Assistance Service (TAS).

Hope this helps,

It sounds like the heater fan has stopped working.
