Saab 900i 1987 central locking not working on pass doors or tailgate, only drivers door works normally.?Thanks

Answers:
Look at where several wires earth on the front cross member. This is a known problem causing all sorts of electrical faults. Also bad contact at fuse in box under bonnet, or in the drivers door lock which sends the current through to the others. Mine teases me by working some days and not on others. Usually OK once the engine has started. The fuse is only 10 amps and will blow if one of the locks is sticking and you open and close repeatedly so check that fuse is still intact. Its number 24 on my car.
lSounds as though it could be actuating switches, usually located behind door panels, these work on electro magnet principle normally, not cheap to buy but reasonable easy to fit, worth looking into
my suggestion would be almost certainly one or more broken wires that pass between body and door as these get stressed and tend to break internally.
disconnect loom at door piller and peel back protective shroud gaining access to wiring loom, gently pull each wire and any broken ones will become obvious, then a matter of replacing faulty wire/s
hope this help
