How do I stop my helmet visor fogging up and how do I see through it when it's raining?
Answers:
Fog Tech, Pinlock, etc. Plenty of anti-fog stuff on the market. Some are not intended for plastic, only for glass as it may scratch the visor (like rain-x so I've never tried rain-x). I use the pinlock system in my Nolan, works great. There's also a thumb-squeegie that you attach to a glove to wipe the rain off your visor. I use my bare glove to wipe the visor if needed, otherwise I just turn my head to the left and right and the wind blows the drops off the visor.
what?
I have ridden for many years and still can not get used to having the visor down, so I ride with shades, you can wear clear ones at night. If you need the shield down leave it opened a mall bit and let the air flow around it. I have also seen little wiper blades that you wear on your finger and you can wipe the outside of the shield with it. I am not sure if that will help if the mist is on the inside of the helmet.
There is an anti fogging spray out for helmet visors that also helps rain water droplets bead off the surface of the helmet visor its applied to.
dude leave it cracked just a bit
use some rain X on it
ready for this USE RAIN X IT REALY WORKS
Rain-X helps with the rain & fog, but believe it or not, spit will also help prevent fogging. Gross huh?
Sure, RainX works.
However to prevent my visor fogging up, I have a PinLock insert.

My helmet came with the fixings required for the pinlock, however, my husband's one didn't.
The nice man at our local motorcycle shop fitted the fixings to my hubbys visor for free.
The PinLock fits on the inside of your visor, and it fits most makes of helmet. It works by creating an air tight seal on your visor.
It comes in various colours for different lighting conditions and is interchangable.
use anti-fog coating made for plastic, i dont know about when its raining, maybe rain-ex has some plastic products.
soft kitchen roll and green "fairy liquid"keep rubbing until all smears have gone works well do it twice a week in bad weather
Buy a fog city shield for your helmet. yo can order one online or go toyour nearest bike shop. they do NOT fog up at all. My dad has one, nad i have fog city dirtbike goggles, and they r awsome. if you want tobe cheap, just crack the visor a little bit, and the air frm the outside will come in and keep it from fogging.
I tried this and it really worked.
Rub your viser down with good 'ol Coca-Cola !!
