Can I put an Armrest in my VW Golf R32?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Answers:
I feel ya on this one. And yes, you can.
My husband has a R32 and has looked into getting an armrest too. He found on on eBay, but changed his mind about it. He said it isn't that difficult to install.
What!
Your buying an R32, for the power and sportyness! Not for comfort. If you want armrests, buy a Jag XJ6.
Enjoy the V6 and take it to the redline. Its the only way to drive it, not like a sunday blue rinser
Yes you can. If you get it done by VW the will charge about 300 and completly replace all the plastic covering from your handbreak to airvents to the back. not worth it. just use a big cd case with a clever little pillow thing ontop normally used as back support on office chairs, perfect.
its easy to install by removing the tray by the rear ashtray and it has a few bolts that the holes are there for 20 minute job but i find it a bit bulky and it gets in the way
behind the handbrake u'll find a storage pocket, this is were the armrest will go, there is 2 air vents which needs removing, once u have done this remove the plastic covering around the handbrake to the vents, there u will find two or three holes for bolting the arm rest into, u'll find the armrest on ebay,
enjoy the R32
