How does a snow plough driver get to work!?

Answers:
Maybe he has a company vehicle
On skis.
Obviously.
Haha ! Like it !
he drives his snow plough!

its a perk of the job they get to take them home everyday,
have you not seen them parked outsde the supermarket in the hight of summer?

i actuly think that he gets to work before the snow, weather reports a pretty good these days!
The ones I know have 4x4 Pick ups with big tires or they have the plow at their house if a big storm is predicted. I once saw a city plow operator doing a private drive, so I called the city and asked when they would be by to do mine. They said they didn't offer that service .. hmm thats funny I saw one of your drivers over on (Street Name) doing a private drive. They took down my number and called me back the next day to inform me they had susppened the drive without pay for one day.
On stilts.
That's easy! He takes it home!
You know just because he clears the roads doesnt mean its impossible to drive on them. Most roads arent snowed out. They are just not advised to drive on them. He simply drives on them and then drives back and clears them.
Perhaps he lives/sleeps in his snowplough in winter.lol :-)
Carefully
they keep the snow plough at home or he has a pair of skies/snowshoes
Snow plow drivers don't show up after the snow is already on the ground. They watch the weather. They usually show up to work when it starts snowing. Here in the Reno/Tahoe area, divers in plows wait on the sides of the road. When it starts snowing, they start plowing. And the salt trucks start salting. They plow all through the night, so that everyone else can get to work as safely as possible the next day. Haven't you ever noticed that the roads are already plowed by the time you leave for work?
According to a commercial that aired about 6 years (2000), when the new Volkswagen Beetle came out, he used his bug to get to the plow! ;)

I just got by VW Bug this spring, so I will see if that is true this winter. LOL
four by four, walk or gets weather forecast then goes to work
before it gets to bad.
My nephew works for our local city's street department and when a big storm is predicted they will go into the shop the night before and spend the night there so they can get a good start before the storm hits or just as it starts.
They get called in early for one, and they drive their 4x4 dodge so they get there.
He's already there. Ever heard of weather forecasting -
4X4 or all wheel drive vehicles are an option. And/or driving in bad weather or on snowy roads just takes a little pratice and patience. If the roads are bad, slow down. Anyone that has driven in very bad weather can tell you that all wheel drive will help you get the vehicle moving, but it wont help you stop. Just a few things to think about.
As snowly as everyone else.
Back in the late 50s/early 60s VW had a clever advertisement which showed that the snowplough driver got to work using a VW Beetle. The photograph used in the ad was brilliant,
He drives his car that has snow tyres or studded tyres .
If he was doing his job right he should have been out gritting the roads before the snow fell in the first place.
