What do the letters GSI stand for on the Hyundai Tucson car?.?
Answers:
grande sports injection
Gets slower incrementally.
Yes, probably as the first answer. G for Grand (lots of toys), S for Sports (go-faster stripes?) and I for (fuel) Injection. However, to be certain you would have to ask the marketing executives (they'll be the ones still wearing pigtails) who thought of it in the first place. :-)
Great Stupid Idiotic motor. Sorry but I hate these copies of real cars with a vengence.
It's to make it seem like the car goes faster. I think these letters are chosen at random these days.
Originally a 2+2 open top car was called a Grand Tourer and they put the letters GT in the name. Then someone had the daft idea of putting the letters GS on saloon cars to suggest they were as much fun as sports cars. And just to confuse us more, they put an i on the end - originally to suggest fuel injection.
My car's got GLXi after it's name. It's a boring mid range hatchback that takes me to the supermarket. Perhaps it's been to university.
