What can you do on a long flight to stop getting insanely bored?

Answers:
Read, watch films, eat, get up and wriggle you legs to stop DVT's, try to keep an eye on the time of day for your sestination and try to match it with what you do, ie.e sleep when its night time..relax though and dont think its boring, if you think it, it will be! Also, people watching is fun..
drinking usually does it for me..
movies, books, ipod, sleep
Surf the internet, answer Yahoo questions
join the mile high club?
masturbation, bomb-making, and sleep - usually in that order.
Sleeping
Interesting novels will do the trick, especially if they are filled with adventures. Take at least two voluminous ones and you would't know when you get to your destination.
take a remote controlled fart machine and put it under the chair infront of you. Ha Ha Ha Ha Phrrrppppppppp!!
Drink scotch until you puke blood onto the onlookers around you.
Sleep is possibly the best bordom fighter. To increase the amount of sleep you can get, stay up 24 hours the day before your flight. When you board you will be sandy eyed and ready to put in some serious zzzz's. Bordom doesn't set in immediately, do fight off sleep conversing with seat neighbors, watching the movie, etc.

Then when you are finally ready to sleep, simply begin reading a good book. Soon you will have the crew shaking you upright and asking you to please engage your seatbelt, and the flight will be over in a few minutes.
r u crazy? if its da day time, all u hav t do is look out da window at da wkd view, u cud go nd c if u can hav a gawk in d plane's **** pit, u cud read the flight manual thing's, read a book, play a PSP, (If u hav 1 obviously.nd if ur aloud use dem on plane's.i shud kno d answer t dat.. anyway) or u cud do as oder's suggested nd jus sleep. r talk t d person beside u, u nvr kno, dey cud b ur soul m8 r somethin!
take a gba/portable dvd player, mp3 player/magazine - oh yes and your favourite sweets and have a nice soothing glass of wine. When all else fails, if yuour with your partner - put a blanket over one fo your laps - or use the restroom facitlities to have some extra curricular activities!
Buy a good book at least 3 inches thick settle down to read. If you chose well you'll have landed before you can finish it!
Stuff yourself with inflight meals and plenty of booze while youve got the chance.
Alternatively start a riot on board - you'll never be able to take a long boring flight again.
EAT that wot i usually do
walk back to the gally and party with the crew.
If you are flying by United, you can listen to live communication between the flight deck and air traffic controllers (available on channel 9); it can be very interesting and you get to know a little bit about how air traffic is handled and a lot of details regarding your flight (flight levels, clearances to fly to certain points or to climb/descend, approach, landing, etc.).
Bring the following:

Personal stereo/Ipod etc
Portable games console
A very good book
an inflatable pillow/jumper to use as pillow
A puzzle book
Portable DVD player

All of these worked for me. I've travelled across the pond (atlantic ocean) 4 times in VC10/Tristar aircraft (5-7 hours), and form the UK to north Norway in a Hercules, VERY slow, took 5 hrs! It was a laugh when a mate knicked the remote for my dvd player and paused it a few times. Had me confused for a sec!
All those answer's are silly , any one of em could wake the pilot , you'r not flying at the moment are you !
