What information can dvla ask from my GP about my medical records?

Answers:
Only condition`s that effect your ability to drive safely , every thing else is strictly confidential !
if you have a condition which means you are at risk when it comes to driving.
They can ask for a full medical report if they wish.If they do decide to have a medical report from a doctor, then they will pay them to do it.I sent in my application for HGV licences 5 years ago, they were not happy with one answer i gave so they sent me to a specialist for a report.I went and had it done, recieved my licence and it didn't cost me a penny more than my original application price.
i would think they have to get your permission first. but i guess it would be about the condition in which they think you can drive any longer and no other medical reasons
