I have a ford escort 97 LXTD, the side lights front and back, instrument panel lighs and reg lights hav stoped

I have a ford escort 97 LXTD, the side lights front and back, instrument panel lighs and reg lights have stopped working. Main and full beam, break and fogs all ok, Fuses are good so thinking Relay! Not sure how to test them? Any ideas??

You may want to look into the headlight switch. I work on fleet vehicles and have come across this problem before. Take the switch out and see if you are getting current to the wires that feed the parking lights when the switch is turned on. If you are not then replace the switch, if you are than you will have to trace the wires to the point where you loose current. Based on your information I am betting that is your problem, since the switch is the current distribution point for all the systems you described having trouble with. Good Luck!
try replacing the lights or check the wires, they might of come of.
