Learning to drive in London..?

Is there a cheaper way of learning to drive?

What about one of them weekly courses? Or maybe getting a friends to teach you in a car you bought cheap.

Its so freakin expensive..

Answers:
it is well expensive to learn in london, what you should do is take one or two lessons, just so that you know what rules are and what is expected, then, learn with your friend, befoer your test, take about 2 lessons with an instructor to brush up. its the best alternative
A driving instructor i know charges £21.50 per hour which some people think is very expensive. They then pay £30.00 for a 20 min taxi ride on a Saturday night. It takes a lot of work to become a driving instructor and they should charge more.
Practice the basics with a friend in an empty car park or in a neighborhood without much traffic. That way you canget the feel for driving without too much risk of wrecking the car or hitting someone else. Once you are more confident take a few lessons with a professional instructor
What you have just said is that you dont value your life at all and you dont care if you crash and kill yourself and friends, you just want to get it done cheaply. Think about that.
practice with your friends would be the best thing p.s thanks for the best answer in your ipod question . did it work
