Zxr400 L model K&N?
Can i do it my self? Or do i have to get a pofessional to do it and how much ill it cost?
I can do fairly easy tasks such as changing oil, brake pads etc.
Any help appreciated

It will prob need dyno jetting Well worth doing though just had my cbr600 done and it makes a world of difference. not really something you can do you self as carbs will need balancing. Gauges required. Good luck

People used to do this kind of stuff with 2 strokes when life and bikes were fairly simple. Best bet is to get a pro to do the job. You may be able to do the basics but this will require a level of expertise and specialist tools. Possibly even a rolling road.
Hello mate, get a stage one dynojet kit. This will sort out the carbs and help if you have a race can on too.
Just a little point.just make sure you fit the filter correctly . sometimes they move when putting the airbox lid back on and causes an air leak which will result in crap running.
A k & n on its own will not cause bad running as these can be used as a direct replacement for a standard filter without adjustment to the bike so just re fit it and make sure it is sealing. and did you oil it? k and n's need filter oil on them to work properly.
