Is it cool to go barefoot?
I see no sense in restricting our feet in tight fitting shoes when we have very capable soles on our feet.
Answers:
YES most definately. The soles of your feet are easilly able to cope with going around without shoes. It takes a little time for them to harden and grow used to doing what they were designed to do in the first place but they will handle it no problem.
I have been barefoot for the past few years. I have a new found sense of freedom.
Go for it
Some of the mean streets in America demand shoes
yes
till ya step on glass and try to sue the owner of the place you sliced your foot wide open in. no dude shoes man. save ya feet
i'd love to but it might hurt after a bit. i used to walk everywhere barefoot when i was younger, adulthood restricts you!
Woodstock is over, but if your a backwoods hillbilly, go for it.
i love to go barefoot. I was raised in a beach comunity. But dude some places you have to wear shoes. Try some flip flops. Thats all i wear to school unless its raining. I still do if its raining!
i do that at work all the time, too. i agree, i think its ok, as long as you dont work at a resturaunt or something. i work at a resort office, so my guests dont ever see me shoeless anyways.
No. It is definitely not cool to accidentally step in dog do or mucous or anything else barefooted. I guess it's not cool to do it in shoes either, but it is more disgusting barefooted.
If you don't like tight shoes wear some Teva's or birkies
Me to,at work I have to wear trainers but behind reception they straight off! and at home I never wear shoes!
You sound like a real cool person, i think its great to walk bear foot, keeps you in tough with nature, i love to feel fresh cool soil between my toes when walking through a forest.
I wouldn't say it's particularly cool. There was a picture of either Kate Moss or Sienna Miller walking barefoot through London and I thought it just looked to try hard. Plus her feet were filthy and it's massively unhygienic.
I agree that at home it's the most comfortable way to be, and I'd quite like to go barefoot around work, but I just don't think it's terribly professional.
cool if the land dosent feel hot
im sure u will get blisters
I bet your feet are filthy
I'm a Barefoot person too !! I'm barefoot at Home, work an while i drive , But streets in VA/DC are not safe for barefeets , so i suck it up an put on my Adidas sandles !!
A lot of Kiwi's go barefoot, i imagine it feeling really carefree, go for it!
Barefoot is fun! I have grown up doing so, in my own house, even now as an adult I still do. My friends sometimes laugh when they are all wearing socks. My feet feel free, and I make sure my toe nails are always painted pretty, so my feet look good. Where do you work? Most places, such as offices and high businesses, have a standard for wearing shoes, yet if you work from the house, or in a small business, wear your costumers dont mind you barefoot, hey Why not show those toes! (grin)
Yet even when I love being barefoot, there are times shoes are a must, such as hot days, rainy days, in the Winter and running errands about town. Yes we do have capable soles on our feet, but those soles can still be damaged, if not taken care of.
Most work places require shoes for OSHA regulations, do you even work? or is this the reason you go barefoot
I used to go barefoot as a child because I lived near the beach,I used to think it was cool to run on the pebbles without pain and laugh at the tourists walking gingerly down to the sea.Yes it did feel cool.
Yes, especially if it has been snowing!
Barefoot is cool as long as everyone takes care of their feet. There are uncomfortable and ugly foot diseases out there that can be passed by going barefoot. However, it is very comfy in most instances. I stepped on a rose thorn the otherday, which was an exception, ouch!
Real answer is no, just sore!!
saves money as well.
No its totally ridiculous
Remember now the streets are covered in dog poo, broken glass, used condoms and anything thing else that we don't care to put in the bin.
It may be a better idea to spend a little extra money and buy a decent pair of shoes
Yes
I don't know what you equate "cool" to! I think it would depend on where you are walking. Where I live in Texas, you have grass burrs (sometimes referred to as "little porcupine eggs), We have about a thousand kinds of cactus, - black widow spiders, rattlesnakes, recluse spiders, ghila monsters, coral snakes, scorpions,-( just about everything that lives here bites stings or is poisouous)!
Shoes (not sandals)-protect you from a lot of things "hurting" you, -as you would also like to spend a little time looking where you are going, and not where you put your foot on every step!l
Of course man survived for a few hundred years without shoes before it was figured out how to make them
Yes, it is cool to go barefoot, but if everyone did it, I think I would have to be sick every time some old man with in-grown toenails and foot fungus walked by me.
And I would like to mention that if all your shoes are tight fitting, they are not the proper size for you. And besides, we are not "restricting" our feet, we are merely protecting them from the many hazards we encounter every day. (hot pavement, broken glass, chewed gum, etc.)
It is very healthy to go barefoot, who can stop you?
Well, that are a lot of places that say no shirt, no shoes, no service. You can cut your feet & the place could be sued, so that is one reason. The other is sanitary reasons. I rarely go barefoot at a pool any more for everything that blooms on my feet soon after. Why not just wear flip flops & be safe!
It's OK for you maybe but I don't want to have to look at your dirty feet thank you very much. You could say we are restricting other parts of our bodies with clothes but I really don't think that walking around naked is a good solution. Do what you like in your own house but there are rules that you should follow in public.
no your mad
