Where can I go to study for and sit my JAR PPL exams in one block?
Answers:
cheapest and most effective way for ppl is to buy a confuser, i passed my final 3 ppl exams, for ppl(h) (air law, comms theory and nav) in one sitting after, you don't need ground school.
if you are going on to CPL or as i am doing ATPL then you need to enrole in Bristol Ground school, Alex and the team there are fantastic.
Rule of thumb you should be doing one exam every 7 hours of flying, that should get you signed off at around 50 hours.

you're best bet is to contact the local caa office that deals in you're area.
they will provide you with all the details you need.

There is a guy in on the south coast (i think). the company name is pigs might fly (again i think), When you visit your flying school take a look in one of the flying mags they may have there as he advertises in them, the add has a pig with wings and his name is derek. He offers residential course were you can do your ppl exams in a week block course, dont know the costs though. I have heard that he is very good. otherwise buy yourself a ppl confuser from pooleys or your school, a couple hours a night and you will pass the exams with ease. best of luck and happy flying.
