I used to for surrey police in the safety camera department like 2 months ago.SOME have gone digital but most over the country are still film, id say 90% have films in them and about 70%of those still have the ability to snap you. basicly just dont speed when you see a big yellow box on a stick.

every one is right older cameras are film the newer ones or digital but there has been big issues with these and i know our council are not putting up new cameras the are using warning signs the speed camera was used by lots of local authority's as a revenue to pay for services so now there are less people getting caught by camera and it is not a victory people now less money coming in from speed bandits is going to cost us more as they need the money somewhere for services Dave
