The fastest route anywhere when driving from London is to start in London not from Dover.
Depends on the traffic.
I like the Hoverspeed, it is nice and quick.
You could also go Harwich to Hook of Holland, it's a longer crossing but takes you closer to the Autobahn.

I'd take le shuttle and then head through Brussels, Cologne, Regensburg and in through Austria through Vienna to Bratislava.

Hoverspeed does not operate any longer. The eurotunnel is the quickest, but quite expensive
I like Norfolkine, from Dover to Dunkerque. Very good service and very clean and nice boat (much much better than PandO and Seafrance)
