Anyone been to the NEC bike show today?

Very interesting were the crashed R1 and GSX-R - makes you think safety doesn't it.
I thought the show wasn't too big/not too small. Stuff to buy, stuff to eat and bikes to check out. Cool.

BUT please explain why they have the show in Oct/ Nov when the weather is always soooo bad for biking? Its a good two hour ride for me and I hate having to de-frost when I get there!

we went on thursday,trade day and it was fantastic,got myself a furygan textile jacket off the j&s stand for 80quid,priced it up when we got home and it retails at 125quid,bonus.
No, I had to miss it this year. I went to last years though and loved every minute. My Other Half went today and got some photos with some of his idols, Steve Parrish, Jamie Whitham to name a couple. I wish I could have gone. He did bring me a nice pressie home though, a t-shirrt from the Grinfactor stand!
