When you get a speeding ticket, how many days does it take till you receive it by post? Thanks :)?
Answers:
There is a legal time limit on issuing you with an intention to prosecute notice, which is 2 weeks, unless you have been involved in an accident, then they don't have to warn you about intending to prosecute you at all, cos you should already know.
If a speed camera has flashed you, if it only flashed once (if it was a Gatso), you are OK, it was out of film. If it flashed twice, you may still be OK, but you have probably been caught. If you haven't heard anything after 2 weeks, you can rest easy, you got away with it.. this time.
It has to be issed within 3 weeks!

if u have not heard anything by 28 days then you should phone the local police station and let them know

You should have recieved it from the issuing officer, it will show the place date and time of the infraction, and it will show where and by when you need to apear in court. Failure to apear will result in a warrent for you arrest being issued.
