Could you attach a hydrogen flow to the carburetter of a petrol engine to power it?
Answers:
Dangerous
Just run in front of a bus! It's an easier way of killing yourself!
It's too dangerous, or someone would have done it, the space shuttle booster rockets use -200 Celcius liquid hydrogen, as do other space rockets, and even there if things go wrong a big explosion happens, please don't try this experiment on your own car ; )
I don't know send a letter 2 braineac
kaboom your engine would explode hydrogen would burn much quicker and fiercer than petrol just fit a nos kit
Hydrogen doesn't have enough power to burn in a typical car engine. Propane or natural gas does. In the 50s and 60s, tractor mfgs offered tractors powered by propane as an option. They made just as much power as a gas engine, and lasted longer. Propane or CNG can still be found powering tractors, busses, forklifts and trucks.
The way you describe will not work and is dangerous You could have it converted to gas (propane) but that is quite costly. If you interested in this type of thing try a site for suppressed technology IE running cars on water http://befreetech.com/energysuppression..
,I'm afraid not engines that can run on hydrogen are specifiably made for that purpose they could no more run on petrol as a petrol engine can run on hydrogen
