without slaming on my brakes lol

Answers:
Slow down and turn on your lights
Swerve as u never swerved before!
Put your fog lights on, they soon back off
s l o w d o w n
Slow right down to 10 mph that'll give them the message!
I slow down even more, just to piss'm off
well if you don't want to slam on your brakes. slow down even more that really makes them mad, or you can just pull over and let the idiot pass and then tailgate them and see how they like it!!
Have you tried stopping suddenly?
flash your hazard lights at them, or tap your brakes so that your brake lights come on, don't slam them on.
speed up!
If you can change lanes, just do it and let them pass. Believe me, it will get them out of your way and make your day easier. If you can't change lanes, just go really slow, like other reviewers said.
if you are needing a new motor, just slam the brakes on, the tailgater will be liable.
Drive a car with damage to the rear bumper, and a bumper sticker that says "I DESTROY TAILGATERS!!!"
Keep a bag of small rocks next to you and toss them out the window so that they hit thier windshield. Or, at night, get yourself a 1,000,000 candle power spotlight and aim it out you back window. That works real well. Blinds them instantly! Funny as hell to watch slam on thier own brakes because they cant see!
Get out of the passing lane!
Slow down, and leave your blinker on.
it's a rush rush world we live in now.. best 2 switch lanes and let them go.. why chance losing your life over road rage..
i drive slower, or fishtail a little. If you get an 80,000 lb. tanker of Orange juice rocking people tend to back off. lol

Q's: I mean WTH if they have the balls to ride your **** then why don't they go around?

A's: Because in all honesty they are the whinny little retards that can't take the lead but try to underhandedly push you into it.

So drive 25 and they can bite the big one.

Just a note: don't do this with a semi truck behind you. You never know what kind of day that driver has had and he might just be on his last nerve and squish you. Be nice and pull over and let the psycho go on. I can say this because I am a tanker yanker.

Also for anyone who does tail gate my semi truck at night. I will dump half a box of bebe's out the window onto your shinny Lexus. I'm working all night long and I don't need your bright lights giving me a headache while I'm making a living.
bumper sticker saying "any closer and you'll be in my boot/trunk"
If I cant change lanes I slow down or tip the brakes a few times so they see my brake lights I also look in the rear view mirror and usually they see me if and when they pass me I beep like crazy by the way always drive with your doors locked just in case you meet a rager
I use two methods for this.

First, I put my foot on the brake pedal just enough to get the brake lights to come on - but not enough to reduce the car's speed. They slow down, I keep going - problem solved. They soon get the idea after the third time it's happened. :)

If they're a persistent tailgater, though, I figure that the potential danger isn't worth the argument, so I find a safe place to pull over and let them pass. If they're in such a hurry to have an accident, let them do it somewhere else. :)
Slow right down to 10mph
pull and hold the parking break lever and press your parking break fast. i don't care where your from that works.
I hate tailgaters, but I hate back seat drivers more . especially if they are in another car. Braking is like telling the other guy how to drive his car.

Just look for a choice of a few signs for the back window of your car.
"no BABY ON BOARD but i don't want you to hit me either"
"The closer you get, the slower I go"
or a hand made sign worked for me . "Beware of falling parts" that was on an old car, and people believed it .. lol
"IF YOU CAN READ THIS . what happened to my trailer?"

are you a thrill seeker? get the passenger beside you to steer and let them see the driver turn his head and face the car behind - that scares them.
Just ignore them, if they hit you its thier fault. In this day and age slowing down could increase the risk of you getting hurt in a road rage attack, if you have to stop at a junction. Best thing is just let them get on with it or just as easy pull over and let them passed to let someone else deal with them.
If its daylight turn your head lights on the tail lights come on to and look loke your hitting the brakes when your not. If that dont work start swervin all over the road like your drunk they'll soon back off.
jam on the brakes, swerving all over the road, and come to a halt facing them and get out and say that they hit the rear of your car sending you into a spin. then try to get money out of them for the scratch on the boot

they'll never do it again
Try using one of the scrolling displays that stick to your back window, they're remote control and you can say what you want!!
Move to the lane on your left, slow down.
15ft Iron bar welded to the back of your car and a reasonable sign in hypon warning illuminous colours. You made every effort to ensure they can see it, and it means they can't get any closer than about 16ft without risking impalement. No normal person would tailgate a car with a big spike hanging out the back!!
Slow down, and they will pass unless they are just stupid. If you are on a single lane road, pull over to the right and let them pass.
