Is this as huge a story of coincidence that you have heard?
Anyway - here is my tale:
About 5 years ago my friend and I were driving on the motorway up the coast from Wellington to Paraparaumu. It wasn't that jammed with traffic and we were driving at a comfortable speed. In front of us was a navy blue Saab. I just happened to glance at the Saab's number plate and was shocked to see that it consisted of (in exact sequence) my initials (SR) and the pin number (not telling) of my bank card.
What are the chances? I know it's not impossible as it happened, but how uncanny. Do you agree?
It still blows me away when I think about it.
Does anyone else have a similar story?

Not quite the same, but let me tell you about the weirdest thing I ever saw.
When I was in school, our maths class did a stint studying probability. One day we had to do an experiment: We all had to flip a coin 100 times and record which side it landed. The idea was to calculate the probability of it coming down heads or tails.
On about the 45th try, I flipped the coin and - hand on heart, I promise that this is true - it landed on its edge and stayed there.
Nobody else saw it happen. I called the teacher over and asked how probable he thought that was. He wouldn't believe that it could have happened by pure fluke (unsurprising really).
Even today, I still feel cheated.
nothing like that, but a couple of years ago, i was reading a book and my husband was watching tv, at the moment i read about Peter Cushing, i looked up and Peter Cushing was on tv, my husband was watching "star wars"

Amazing .but when I was a van driver back in the 60's I found myselt behind another van with the next number to mine. It wasn't part of the same Company and I don't know who it belonged to!
