I have to get to Surbiton tonight after work, Was going to go from Richmond and that seems to take 45-60 mins depending on the train. So thought Id go from Waterloo instead and that shows on the timetable to tak an hour and a half? Surely thats not right- Surbiton is not far from Wimbledon and it doesnt take that long to get to Wimbledon? Is it just that the only train that stops at Surbiton are slow ones?!
Answers:
Should take between 15 and 30 minutes. 6:02 or 6:23 trains tonight both get you there in 15 minutes. Not sure what timetable you were looking at!
if memory serves me, Waterloo can go direct to Surbiton alot quicker than that. But why not try going from Richmond to Wimbledon then change to go to Surbiton. If all else fails, take a bus from Richmond to Surbiton. Good luck.
catch a bus it's cheaper and quicker
there are fast trains too. best bet is to go to waterloo and see what trains are due to depart via the time boards
