i dnt care.sry!
I won't even hazard a guess at how many platonic hugs there will be.
4037.
6 and you have to push the dam thing.
Dunno, but not enough. If the government really wants to reduce car use and greenhouse gases, give the motorist a dilemma and do something radical. Make all buses free for everyone. Then, the next time you want to make a journey somewhere there will be a real choice: the comfort of your car or a free ride! How do you pay for this? Easy, double car tax, or at least use the existing car tax for motoring, transportation or the road infrastructure, not lining Mr Brown's treasury pockets.

Local bus services in London are operated under contract to the London Mayor through Transport for London. (Unlike the rest of Great Britian, the operation of bus services is not de-regulated in London).
The Mayor is very keen to see more enviromentally acceptable vehicles. As I understand it, the Mayor wants to see Euro4 engines used (Euro3 is the current EC standard). The Mayor is also part-funding trials with alternative fuels such as LPG.
Given past trends, a 10% increase in buses used on local services in London by 2010 is possible.
Fewer than at present (simply because Ken Livingstone would have decreed that all of Central London should be exclusively used by pedestrians).
They will mostly be deisel / biofuel hybrids.
