I went over the white line at a junction, stopped just before the traffic light and I was fined for crossing a red light. When I queried this I was told that if I had reversed back over the white line I would have been fined for crossing a red light in both directions (Truly). Apparently the junction starts at the white "stop" lines across the road, not after the actual traffic light. Hopefully you were too far forward for the camera to get your reg. number.
you have to be committed to the intersection. in CO the law states that being on or over the yellow line BEFORE the light turns red is the definition of being committed to the intersection.
No. You'll be fine. Proviging you didn't go all the way across or indeed straight through on with your journey, you'll be fine
Really depends on the camera and when it's scheduled to start taking pix..also..u may run the risk of getting hit by someone that does have the green.prob wouldn't do it very often though because you prob will end up with a ticket.
NEVER cross a traffic light - it will take HOURS to untangle it!
