What time does the A406 (north circular) in London start to fill up?

I need to drive from Finchley to Reading in the mornings and the A406 north circular to the M4 seems to be the best route. I left at 7am this morning and the north circular was already jammed with traffic! Can anyone tell me .what time does the north circular start to fill up with traffic? If I leave at 6.30am will it already be jammed with traffic? I'm thinking of quitting my job already because I just can't sit in traffic for 4 hours a day! It's too much. Thanks for your help.

About 6:30am onwards it gets busy. The rough bits are around Hangar Lane and the A1 junction as I'm sure you know.

I go from Finchley Rd to Reading daily, and its much quicker and less painful on the train - tube 2 Paddington.
It is always full. Never Empty. Sometimes it is a car park.
Do not go there..Try walking instead..
