All people with children shouldnt be on the road between 8 and 9 in the morning and 3 and 5 in the afternoon?
Answers:
You are obviously an individual who doesn't have kids.
oh! oh! Very funny and people over 60 shouldn't be on the road at all if you ask me!
Is the same guy who drinks and drives?
Would you care to elaborate on that statement? (notice I said statement, not question)
No wait, never mind-
why? i mean its stupid.. i get out at 230 in school and run for while after that and i am a teenager. i have a brother who gets out of school at 345.. so why shouldnt we been the road.. also he goes to school at 815
ok fair enough, whats your alternative suggestion? If you are going to make a statement like that you need to back it up with reasons and alternatives.
How do you suggest we get children to school . My Son's school is 7 miles away and has no direct bus route.
You sound like the type of person that shouldn't be on the roads at all.
GET REAL.
What country would this be in? Not the US! What is the question?
how silly of u. we all know u wanted ppl to agree but its never gunna happen. we all knw that. its school time so dont even go there. u mean ppl like u should wrk longer till 5 so theres no traffic. thast better now. aaaahhh.
I don't agree with that because life evolves around certain things.
School, for instance. The younger kids here don't go to school until around 9 or so, so they have to leave their houses a bit earlier, and many people drive their kids to school. Also, the younger kids here don't get out until about 3:30 PM here, and if you think about it, 3-5 PM are entertainment hours after school--lessons, classes, recreation, even fast food.
Are you referring to the evening rush hour or something?
so r Ur the one that's going to jail for my kids being late for school or explain to social services y i abandoned them at school gates to walk home?? better still y don't u get a bloody train n save us the hassle
If people have the capacity to walk their children to school then they should do that and not drive is a good point. As my kids schools are all within a mile of my house the eldest at 11 walks and I take my 5 year old to his school myself or the wife does or the babysitter but we always make sure they walk. It's good exercise for them.
Then again a lot of parents have to get to work at about the same time their kids are starting school or they live a long way from their childs school and walking would be impractical so they have to drive.
I suggest you get a decent job that doesn't require you to join the rest of the peasants who work 9-5 on the roads at those times.
Either that or get your head out of your **** and remember you are not the only person in the world and it doesn't actually revolve around you. I bet you drive a BMW.
Is that a question or a statement?
If one pays ones road tax I do not think it fair to be exclusive to any age .
If however you are indicating that you are opposed to having mothers running their children to school, hence contributing to the volume of traffic at these times of day, well yes, I can almost agree. However, an alternative would be to do as they do in America, bring in YELLOW SCHOOL BUSES, its seems to work very well out there?
Brian, do you have children? When do they go to school and come home? I guess you could take them late to school. (You DO like to sleep in--Don't you?) And then make them wait outside in the cold for you to finish with your afternoon nappy, before you care to get them. When do they get dinner?
We'll treat our children better than that!
YOU take my kid to school then you twit, and if you can't handle the extra traffic on the road then you shouldn't be on the road yerself.
Only parents with children should be on the road between 8 and 9 and 3 and 4 and they should only drive 6 seat plus vehicles and car share to reduce the wasteful use of 4 seat vehicles with a 1 to 3 driver passenger ratio in favour of economical diesel 7 seaters with a 6 to 1 ratio such as Discos.
Children are far to precious to allow to walk to school or risk infected needles which are sometimes found on school buses and if I didn't live so close to school that parents park outside my house to drop kiddies off I would drive mine to school in a nice safe 140mph Range Rover BUILT IN BIRMINGHAM the best 4X4Xfar
I agree
so sorry but i dont own a helicopter yet if i did i would not have to use the roads in future just think before you type if thats possible
And just what is the question?
Brian, I notice that you`re an 18yr old driver who seems to feel victimised by people (looking at your other questions) who don't give Young drivers a break. Well then based upon this question I can only agree with them.. go back to your skateboard, amuse yourself by squeezing your zits in the mirror and leave the roads to the rest of us. Alternatively practise what you preach and stop bleating on about how hard it is to be a teenage driver & give us parents a break. Afterall you were probably taken to school at sometime in your life.
