Is it possibe to get to Watford junction from stockwell tube on a 6.30 pound travel card?

Answers:
Watford junction does not come under the tube zones so you'd have to get two different tickets. Watford junction is mainline, Stockwell is on the underground.
no its best to get a train , you might fall off the travel card !
Not by train, as Watford Junction is outside the Travelcard area.

You would need to buy an extension from "Boundary Zone 6" to Watford Junction *before* boarding the train. (Emphasis on *before* as Penalty Fares apply at Watford Junction)

However, as another member has pointed out (and I forgot!), you *can* do the journey on a Travelcard by taking a 142 bus from Edgware or a 258 from South Harrow, though both of those take what seems like forever.
You *can* get to Watford Junction on a travel card, but not by train - you'd have to make at least part of your journey by bus. Travel cards and London bus passes are valid along the whole length of routes 142 and 258, which stop at Watford Junction station. The 142 also stops at Stanmore, Hendon and the Brent Cross shopping centre. The 258 stops at Harrow & Wealdstone, Harrow-on-the-Hill, and South Harrow.

So the best way to do this from Stockwell would probably be to change at Green Park then catch the bus from Stanmore. You can avoid the steps at Green Park interchange by changing at Oxford Circus then again at Baker Street.

If you can't use the bus and want the cheapest possible train ticket combination, it depends when you're travelling. If you're doing it during the day, it's best to use Oyster Pre-Pay as far as Kenton (4.90 there and back) then get a Cheap Day Return from there (3.60). If you're travelling after 7pm or at the weekend, it's cheaper to use Oyster Pre-Pay to Harrow & Wealdstone (4.00 there and back) and get a Cheap Day Return from there (3.40). You will need to leave and re-enter the station where you change between Bakerloo and Silverlink in both directions.

These prices are likely to change in 2007.
why don't you go to watford met ( on the metropolitan line).you need to get a travelcard for zone 1toD and then take a bus from there.

to answerer above:prices will go up in 2007 but will be frozen if you have an oyster card.
