Have a look on the transport for london homepage. You can get direct trains from one of the major London stations it's either Blackfriars, Cannon Street or Liverpool Street. (These are all on the Circle Line)

The easiest and fastest is the Stansted Express from Liverpool Street mainline station - but its quite expensive unfortunately, at around £25 for a return ticket. Happy travels!

I get to Stansted airport by joining the A27 at Portsmouth then head west on the M27 to Jct5 join theM3 and head north, stop for a pe* at Fleet services then on to the M25 (eeuch) drive clockwise and join the traffic jam, proceed slowly till Jct 27 then try and dodge the homicidal lemmingstrying to join the M11 north I then meander up toJct8 then follow the signs, but why Stansted?
