4x4 Drivers?

I know I will get some flak for this but dont you think there should be an extra part to the driving test for offroad driving for4x4 and just to even thigs up should First Aid be part of the test as well.

Answers:
I agree Frank First responers should be a part of every driving test.
Yeah and cyclists should be forced to take a test and have insurance.

Never happen though!
Driving off road you are only going to be a danger to yourself (and any one that travels with you) so i dont think it should be a part of the official test
Start off easy and gradualy get onto rougher ground, you will learn.
I drive a 4X4 and it is great fun.
First Aid Yes
probably not but it is always to learn some first aid, you never know when those skills would come in handy. there are places where people take off road adventure trips and they don't always require a driving license but it could help with some really challenging off road tracks
excellent point, driving off road is a different skill to driving on road, also i agree first aid should be part of the requirements to have a driving licence - regular retests should be made standard as well too many drivers fall into bad habits and negligently cause crashes - if a crash is caused by negligence or bad driving it isn't an accident
should be
I don't think an extra addition to the test would be of much benefit to the rest of the population as this is at most a question of a persons competence at there given hobby / pastime. You certainly need adequate training to drive different classes of vehicle, you wouldn't expect to gain a licence for a car and then drive a Bus without being aware of the aspects of safely driving a vehicle that weighs 10 time more, stops and handles differently plus the numerous other differences that it entails.

First Aid should absolutely be part of the Driving Test, it should be a pre-requisite requirement before even getting a provisional licence. In Germany all school children are taught First Aid, and it`s in-fact a legal requirement to render First Aid assistance to anybody requiring it, to the point where you can be prosecuted for not doing so. Unlike the USA where most everybody is terrified of being sued by money grabbing half-wits, we have the Samaritan act which covers you if you try to help somebody, and helps keep you safe from prosecution.
At an RTC (road traffic collision) we have something called the Golden Hour which is counted from the time of impact to getting the casualty to Hospital, sometimes in rural areas you may be 10 or even 15 Min's away from even getting to the scene so any First Aid administered before this time is always gratefully received.
I just Have My class B Commercial Driving test and is a 350 Questions test so IM NOT TAKING MORE QUESTIONS TO MY TEST.
yes I agree
I just wish people would use their blinkers
I have a 4x4 and I drive it offroad. What's the test got to do with anything. You only learn to drive once you've passed anyway. Sod First Aid. If someone's bleeding I have to keep an eye on my own breathing to be sure I don't pass out.
I believe people that drive 4x4's and suv's should have to take a driving test on a closed course because there are so many accidents on road more so than off road do to inexperience. They have a higher center of gravity so they flip over easier etc. As far as teaching first aid, you have the liability factor, If you do something wrong while trying to administer first aid, you may get sued, even though you were only trying to help someone.
Certainly not!

Think of the environment.let them kill themselves!
