Does the average speed camera flash?
Does it have any sensor underneath it?
Does it rely on the logic of some sort of time duration a certain vehicle HAS TO MAKE to travel from one point to another i.e. it should take NO LESS THAN 5 minutes from point A to point B & hence anyone reaching point B BEFORE 5 minutes must've been speeding ? If so how exactly does the camera recognise that it's the SAME car ?

Yeah, I know it is wrong to speed - and I try not to do it and if I do I deserve a ticket. But to be watched to that extent whilst driving your car is quite spooky. What about if you have a tail wind - would this be a defence? Haha!
what happens is it records ur speed through each camera. then calculates the average speed over the distance. if ur average speed is more than the speed limit then u will get a ticket sent to u.
When you enter an average speed camera zone look for overhead mounted cameras, normally one for each lane on the same gantry, they are number plate recognition cameras, the read your plate when starting the measured zone, you will then see another set of cameras when you leave the measured zone, your plate has been read, if you broke the speed limit the DVLA computer sends you a ticket. The camera does not flash.

Here is one from the USA traffic offense don't you have to offend some one has to see comitted. You piss off the camera and get a ticket. That is really something. In Texas thirty years ago so many tickets were contested that police took down the speed camerias. Speeders unite change number tags and all speed on one day of the week. No That is not my Rover It is a Vauxall with my number tag and that is not me driving? Confusion is what your government needs.
