Where can i find the cheapest car insurance?
Answers:
go to http://www.confused.com and let them find the cheapest for you..
confused.com or insuresupermarket.com they will search through all the companys through there database and find the cheapest for you.
I have tried the likes of insurancesupermarket and confused.com Although these sites search for the cheapest quote they quite often provide cover at a cheaper premium because they cover you for less. On the couple of occasion's I have contacted the insurance companies quoting the cheapest premiums they tell you "oh that's only a guide price" and " I don't know why they (the websites) quote us" .
Use these for a guide but be certain to ask about legal cover, courtesy car cover, NCB protection etc. A lot of it is not included in the price they put on the net and unless you check you may find yourself short of cover. You can't beat shopping around but allow a reputable company like the AA/RAC to do some shopping around for you, then you have a benchmark.
Different insurers have different discounts for different types of clients, what could be good for one isn't always good for another. Ask for discounts, if you are a member of a motoring organisation, or a lady driver who only drives a few miles a week etc, some companies offer discounts for Civil Servants others are specifically set up for certain trades such as Iron Trades.
Also, don't be afraid to play one off against another. Be confident in your dealings with the insurers and ask them to beat other quotes, I save my father in law just under £250 by haggling.
I have found that Farmers is coming out with cheaper rates.Give them a call.
its not really where its more how can I lower! decrease your coverage amts, increase your deductables and try a non standard insco like progressive. increase coverage as and when you can afford to..I pay 160.00 for full coverage on 3 cars and my coverages are 15/30/5 and 500.00 ded. with Progressive and I have had a DUI.
Tesco
You could try geico.
Home of cheap auto insurance rates at http://www.nationwidebillrelief.com.
type in automobile insurance on computor and many sites will come up and than select one of them. I selected einsurance and got many emails from insurance companies and compared rates. I actually got a better rate from progressive. I also used progressivedirect.com and they will give you quotes from other companies. You have to understand that the better credit you have the cheaper your rate will be, because if you have great credit you'll be less likely to make false claims.Do your homework, it's well worth it.
