I have a 52reg punto with city button wen using this feature does it use more petrol??

you use slightly more petrol as the button increases your rev band and closes your gears to their closest setting thus making your engine revvierr.It is supposed to make your car nippier in traffic though I'm not sure whether its even noticeable on such a small engine.Nice cars ,Puntos.
Yes, but if you just use it for parking you'll never notice the difference. If you have it switched on all the time it puts an additional workload on the cars hydraulics & will need to consume more petrol than usual and may end up costing you more when you need to get your car serviced & MOT'd.

don't know about city button,my XJ6 has
sport mode which keeps revs up and take
longer to shift "race mode" fun fun fun.
