The instructor will spend most of the 2 hours sitting in the car going over the basics - and telling you whats what in the car.. then if you are up for it you will probably get a wee 10 minute shot at driving.. & take your provisional with you ..take it easy & breath. good luck.
Take your provisional, yeah. And you will get to drive, probably after about 30 minutes, I'd say.

you need to take your licence with you (provisional) both the card and paper.
If you are having a 2 hour lesson i am sure you will get to drive. Depends on how convident you are. Good luck. x
You will probably spend 30 minutes or so going over safety and the basic controls etc then you will begin to drive by practicing starting and stopping, next you will most likely move onto getting upto second gear followed by simple turns/junctions on an empty road.
By the end of a 2 hour lesson you should have spent a short while driving on the main roads and possibly drive yourself home depending on your skills.
Great! am happy for you, Y'no, I had my first just last sunday.and we went to a very quite area, when people were in church in the morning, it was so exciting. T'was a 2 hours (about) thing too, and the guy only allowed me up to gear 2. It's not automatic though. I would continue from there next saturday. I wish you good luck. And ah.for two hours, really no provisionals needed.
I don't know what a provisional (learner's permit?) is, but just have confidence and don't be afraid of the vehicle. Step on the gas, don't tap it. Use only one foot in an automatic. Most idiots use 2. I drive a stick so I have to use 2, but only left foot for the clutch
Only stick drivers are experienced drivers. If you drive an automatic ONLY, then you have no concept of what control of your car means.
ALWAYS look 10-12 seconds ahead of you and you will be fine.
Most people only look right in front of them. Which makes them retarded and narrow [minded]. You will be a much more efficient driver and faster reacting than most all drivers out today.
