What is the cheapest way to travel from london to bradford?
Answers:
if you go to http://gner.co.uk you can purchase their wide range of advance purchase tickets for a really cheap price, probably not as cheap as the coach but can be as little as £19 each way, these work that you book a specific train on a specific date, and that's the train that you must travel on.i.e Friday 25th august on the 19.00 train, if you miss this train then you must get this sorted at the ticket office before boarding the train if not you will be liable for the full single fare, you can also get travel in 1st class for very cheap prices too
Cheapest way is to walk but lets be sensible
Coach tickets are usually really cheap compared to the train but then you have to put up with sitting on a coach for a lot longer than it would take by train.
Megabus, 1 pound
Coaches are usually cheaper over long distances. Trains are a rip off, I pay £3 per day for a journey that takes 10-15 mins.
Of course you could always cycle, might take a while but much cheaper!
