Why is the northern line so bad?
Answers:
because its got loadsa branches and loadsa stations, district lines worse, thank fudge i live on the victoria
Are you talking about the London Underground? If so, what is it so bad at?
Please be more specific.
The Northern Line is rubbish, so is the District Line. They just randomly stop them for no good reason! It's pathetic!
Think because its black.
It is all in the training. Try shouting 'BAD NORTHERN LINE'!
It has a lot of stops but it also has a lot of trains on it. The main problem with the northern line is that trains reach the end of the line then must turn around or go onto another track to take it back south again. (I'm not sure which way around)
It runs from one end to the other then starts again at the start.
Its also one of the more heavily used lines, so problems with that line are highly likely to have more repercussions.
Cos it's so long
Because it's the oldest line but will have a massive refurbishment soon!
Because it does not have a dept with access both ends making it difficult to move trains. One was going to be built at Bushy Heath but the work stopped (never to restart) due to the war. Blame Hitler for the delays!
The Northern Line is incredibly complex and the slightest fault has immense ripple effects. It has tri-furcates north of Camden Town, has two routes south of Camden Town which come together again just south of the river.
