How many attempts did it take you to pass your driving test?
Passed my practicle test 2nd time with 3 minors
I had around 60 I hour lessons.

I took my test 5 times in an automatic - and failed every time.
Haven't bothered again.
2 (didnt have theory when I took mine).
car test - thoery 32/35 2nd time pass
bike test - theroy 33/35 2nd time pass
Don't rememver how may hours of lessons for both but no where near 60! (more like 10for the bike test and 30 for the car test but that is only a guess, it was a while ago!)
passed everything on the first shot had no lessons but cannot remember my score if there was one when i took it
I passed in 1990 ,1st time after I had 3 lessons.
Didn't have the theory test then tho'.
Two times - but I had more lessons than anyone I know. I still can't parallel park in less than three attempts. How rubbish is that?
Theory first time. Highest score ever recorded on a multiple choice, 110%. Prack- 2nd, 1st time the insstructor deliberately sabotaged the attempt, giving poor directions and descriptions of maneuvers.
I have taken 3 different driving tests
HGV Class 2passed first time in 1975
PCV (Mini bus) passed first time in 1987
PCV (Big bus) passed first time in 1988
i have never paid for any lessons for the above 3, but i have never passed a car driving test. or taken a theory test.

Didn't need to do a theory.
Passed test 1st time no faults.
Had 20 1 hour lessons.
2nd time and before the two stage test came in
I was told it takes a long time for test dates to come through so I booked my test before I had any lessons.
Unfortunately my test date was really quick (I still hadn't had any lessons)
I took the test anyway and obviously failed. The look of fear in the examiners face still makes me laugh
it took me 67 times im 45 years old seriously i just got it last week the guy was sad for me so he gave me my licencese

They hadn't introduced the Theory Test when I was learning to drive
Passed the written , only looked thruogh the handbook 1 time , missed one question .
Passed the driving part , only part I did not quite get was the parallel parking , but who uses that anymore .
No lessons , just watched how other people drove .
i forget the score but for me first time and only one lesson..

1st time - back in 1992
The Theory test has only been around for a few years.
I have now stopped driving altogether, as it is way to expensive.
Passed first time for motorcycle.
Passed first time for car.
Passed first time for semitrailer.
Passed first time for Code 1 (lights & sirens) for fire truck.
No score, instant fail for any mistakes except car where we were allowed two tries at reverse parking.
Who says it's harder these days?
Passed mine the first time. don't remember that score. No problems with driving. Took the Calif test 4 years later and passed written by one question. All the questions I missed were on the side of safety. IE. 15mph in aschool zone vs 25mph in Calif. No problems on the road test.
I can't remember my score, since I took my test so long ago, but I passed the first time around, easily.
