Are you embarassed to drive a light weight "plug in electric" 3-wheeled car with a 100 mile range?
If you run low on battery power, would you be embarassed to ask a stranger if you could plug your car in?
Answers:
We only have one make of electric car available in the UK, the G-Wiz manufactured in Bangalore, Apart from its green credentials, among its many financial advantages are:
No parking costs, no road tax, exempt fom the Congestion Charge in London, cheap to purchase (£7,000) and you can leave it at any of a chain of multi-storey car parks in the City of Westminster to be charged up for free,
So in my view electric car owners are the ones who should be laughing - all the way to the bank.
if i saw you driving that car i would laugh at you so hard that id wind myself
hey dude wheels is wheels. use wisdom, don't go past 50 miles before you turn around and go home or have a hotel room reserved
With the price of gas, we all may be wishing we had a car to plug in.
I would not be embarrassed to drive an economical vehicle. I would be petrified of getting crushed by all of the idiots driving big gas guzzling SUVs.
yes
I most definitely would have been in my younger days
I don't give toss now as long it moves saves me walking
Being on the leading edge usually gets you a few stares, but it doesn't bother me.
I drive an electric car (an old one, made in 1980.)
In my own experience, most of the stares are envy, not derision.
