Why do they call 4x4s Chelsea Tractors?

Answers:
Because they are mostly driven by wealthy mums taking their precious kids to school in the posh area of Chelsea
I live in the wilds of Somerset. However I do a lot of business in London. So the farmer down the road looks down on me from high when he passes. In Chelsea the 4x4 brigade do the same. They expect you to give them space being big like you would a tractor. Stuck up or what me dear.
or the Chelsea Tanks

cause while the original uses of Land Rovers/Range Rovers was to drive over rough terrain, its have become a high end vehicle. They are especially popular with the rich in London, and are called Chelsea tanks because they take up so much room in the narrow streets of London
And they give people who need 4x4's in rural areas a bad name.
All the 'posers' in West London, ie Chelsea, use them to go down the road instead of walking, they pull up & park where they want with no respect for other road users, especially cyclists! You're not part of the 'in crowd' unless you have the latest designer 4X4!

What's a creche?
A traffic accident in Kensington..
because every one living in that part of london has a 4x4, you can even buy spray on mud to make them look the real thing,
Most of them ride bumpy.
