I am a bus driver, what do u think when buses breakdown or overheat, its not the drivers fault.who do you blame?
Answers:
The transit authority for not paying better attention to the condition the buses are in before they left the station.
I blame who ever does the maintenance .. and the person that does daily inspection. but then again things happen.sometimes its no ones fault
The mechanics everytime unless the driver wants to deliberately take 'a shed' off the road ;-)
sorry blame the driver know its not his fault but im just a grummpy person when being held up late
Anything mechanical has a chance of breaking down, no one is to blame for that, but if it's down to a lack of regular daily checks then that's a little different!
I blame the same people I blame when there are leaves on the train tracks. Or ice, or sun or rain or trains.
I.e. I blame the people that are supposed to maintain these things. Or the weather.
it is your fault don't you check your bus before you take it out considering the bus could be running all day anyway there is to many buses on the road so get yourself a real job
no one - i'm just gutted!
As an ex bus driver myself, passengers blame the driver for everything.lol. You cant win, its your fault the bus is late, its your fault the passengers got wet waiting for the bus, its your fault that some dirty kid left his chewing gum on the seat that the next lady sat in.lol. I'm afraid i only stuck the job for a year and said never again.
blame the bus..
I think the service master should be blamed . I know that each area has its service team and each one do his work . the service team should give u a bus in good working condition . unless Ur misuse cause the breakdown
The buses that i have been on, sound as though they about to blow! I blame the company's .
Bad mechanics at depot
I don't take the bus anymore, I drive myself.
The driver is responsible to do a quick check of wear items, tires and wipers for example. I would blame the driver if we ran out of gas, you are responsible for items under your direct control.
I would not blame you for items the Transit Authority is expected to keep in top shape, like the brakes and coolant and belts and oil changes.
But I am very pissed at my daughters school bus driver who arrives LATE everyday to her first stop. If we can be dressed and ready on time (5:45 AM) so can she.
It's the responsibility of the mechanics, not the driver, but they are only human too and for the passengers to go about blaming this or that person won't get the bus going again. In Zimbabwe once we all had to get out and push a stalled bus to bump-start it. It was quite an experience and it worked, so we all got to our destination in the end and everyone was laughing. Bus passengers are unfortunately inclined to ignore the driver completely unless something goes wrong. We should say hello to them and be polite, then everyone feels better. And if the driver feels valued, it might even make him or her drive more attentively, which can only be good for the engine too.
