What annoying, antisocial activity bothers you the most when sitting on a train?

Parentsa with babies who haven`t a clue how to look after them. I once had to sit on a train from Skegness to Derby with a baby crying nearly all the way. The parents didn`t have a clue.

do you think on a train people should be quiet because others dont like it ? you dont own a mobile fone or no1 phones you when your on a train ? lol , ipod you dont listen to music, you dont have kids ? and are all those examples things that bother you when your on a train ? i travel by train quite regularly and all of the above dont bother me 1 bit but then thats just me

2. busnissmen on mobile phones talking so loudy everyone can hear their business.
3. people eating really smelly or loud food
4. people not moving their bags off seats or really fat people taking up 2 seats!!!

People putting their feet up on the seats for a start.
Depositing chewing gum anywhere except the bin.
Playing their music so loud that everyone can hear it.

2. kid running around while there parent either just sit their or shout at them but can not control them
3. group of chavs shouting to each other and swearing and other stuff
4. people that have bags and put them on the seat next to them instead of the racks above them even when people are standing up
5. people that have headphone on but it is so load you can here it
The guy who falls asleep next to you and whose head looms closer and closer to your shoulder and you don't know whether you should wake him up or get up from your seat but if you don't take some form of action and quick then he's going to dribble all over your shoulder to the mirth of everyone on the carriage. I hate when that happens

trains are so borring, and its even worse when they're packed in rush hour and theres no seats,why make you pay for a 'seat' and let you on if theres no seats? good question,i feel bbetter now i'v let that out,lol!

I agree with most answers on here. But UNRULY children who their parents say nothing to them about invading others' space, yet when you ask them kindly to move, they tell their bratty, rude a** children not to talk to you and then get snippy with you. I hate that in any situation, not just the train. :)
Stinky breath is another. They are unsociable, yet want to openly and "stinkinly" sigh with bad breath.OOOOOWEEEEE.YIKES.
Another is a person who gets on a train, airplane or bus or any PUBLIC transportation vehicle and don't want you sitting near them. What part of public do they NOT understand? YOU do not know who will be sitting near you or next to you; so get over it already! LOL

The only thing that ever annoyed me on the train was the family that got on without tickets and I had to sit there and watch and listen as the conductor explained to them that they would be kicked off the train at the next stop, and possibly arrested. It pisses me off because I'm a law-abiding citizen and I hate when people can't do the same.

The fat old passenger in the next seat that ate beans for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is now relieving the gas pressure 31 inches from my nose!
People who assume that just because they are sitting opposite me they need to have a conversation with me. What's wrong with looking out the window?
Oh and yes the tannoy with the "ubiquitous pleasant female voice" that goes - "this train is going to Brighton, stopping at blah de blah de blah de blah, every time the bloody doors shut!

Kids running up and down the train, that really winds me up! When they're little babies it's cute but it's the teenagers on their way to school that drive me up the wall!
