The biggest businesses have friends in Washington who can make things happen to increase profit like pass legislation appoint judges and wage war. Bush is a business man who has many friends in Texas who need high oil prices so that they can afford to pump it from the ground. The best way to raise those prices is to appoint judges to the bench who will throw out law suits against big business, pass legislation that will favor holding Americans hostage, and to wage war on other oil producing nations.
