How can points be legally removed from a driving licence?
Answers:
with pliers
they will be removed when the points expire and you have to send your license back to DVLA to remove the points
Driving Schools, DUI Courses
send your licence to dvla with the correct fee and they will take them off. after the points have expired of course which is 4 years after the date of the offence.
they stay on your licence for 3 years and can be removed only after 4 years
when the offense expires all states are different check your
dept of motor vehicle
go to driving school
They are not automatically removed when the points expire. If you check on the back of your licence, there is a section you have to tick to points removed. Send it back to the DVLA and they will remove the points and sent you a new licence. Unfortunately, there is a charge for this.
You have to take a points reduction class and only 3 points are permitted to be removed.
let them run thier course.you should have learnt your lesson by now
Time & driving classes.or alcohol abuse counseling I think.
Time, my friend - give it time.
Wait 4 years.
They are spent after 3 years, but must stay your licence for 4 years, after which time you can pay to have them removed.
Failing that, buy a bottle of Tipp-ex
Got to wait 3 years, haven't you. I, luckily, have just finished my three years, so can do it all again now ! I'm joking of course. Check with your local friendly policeman?
Points are only removed after they have expired. For purposes of the "totting up prcedures" points are valid for 3 years after being awarded but must remain on the licence for 4 years. After which you can apply for them to be removed and pay the fee. This is done via the DVLA.
The only way to get them removed for free is to change your address, but of course the points must have already expired
why bother! it doesn't me the points are there like thousand of other people up and down uk caused by these bloody cameras as mine was for 3 miles over the 40!!they charged me £60 to put them on and i dont intend to pay them again to take them off
