What is the best speed to travel for fuel consumption?
Answers:
Between 80-90 km/ph is the most fuel effiecient speed for most cars
IT ISN'T THE SPEED THAT DETERMINDES CONSUMPTION BUT THE RPM OF THE ENGINE. THE HIGHER THE RPM THE MORE GAS YOU USE. SO IF YOU ARE DOING 100 IN 3RD GEAR, YOU'LL USE MORE GAS THAN DOING IT IN 5TH GEAR.
That depends on your vehicle but I would guess a range between 50 and 55 mph for most cars. You can also get better mileage by easing up to speed instead of stomping on the gas pedal.
maybe you want to know how to maximize your fuel. depends on what type of vehicle. if its a car , 60-80kph will surely make your car a miser.
70mph around 6 inches off the bumper of the car in front.he has the wind drag and you dont, besides you get there quicker too.. not that i condone tailgating of course.just answering the question.
I've always heard that for every mile over 55, you burn more fuel than you should, like 3% per mile, or something.
It isn't anything to do with speed, its revs. If you want to make your fuel go a long way keep the engine running 2-2.5 revs and get to 5th gear ASAP
Well I would say.. 0mph lol
Get out and walk, and stop polutting the atmosphere.
