I use Train and tube from Srruey to central london

Answers:
It depends. It sure seems that way, but if you live in an expensive are where the pay is good, you will find it more and more common that people will commute long distances to make more money.
1.5 hours is considered a long commute where I live. But for others, it's normal. It takes me 14 minutes to get to work :-)
thats 3 hours a day yes that is long
YEH THOSE 3 HOURS TRAVELLING COULD BE SPENT SPENDING TIME WITH YOUR OTHER HALF OR FAMILY. WORK TO LIVE DON'T LIVE TO WORK.
yes
Took me three hours to get home last night. Normally one and a half to two. Yes, it's way too long, but what are you going to do about it. If we could afford to move, we'd have moved by now.
That is a long time for travel. Is the pay really good? Do you get compensation fo the travel time? If not, I would find something closer. Is it worth having your time cut off from yourself, family and friends after work?
its not a walk down the street. yes, that's a long time to get to work
My husbands drives from Southampton in Hampshire to Swindon in Wiltshire it takes around 2 hrs in light traffic & averages around 3 hrs each way
Yes that is long. At least you don't have to drive though. You can sleep on the train, or read a good book.
i'd say that's long. but I had an hour commute one-way once upon a time, all road time. That was before gas was over $2.60/gal, so I can tell ya I wouldn't do it now!
Yeah it's too long. I did the same commute from Great Bookham in Surrey to the West End for two and a half years. Then I got a local job and realised what real life was!!
Ask a post man and he would say ''you are lucky''
It is long. Fortunately you use the mass trans, so you could cut down on the time spent away from home by trying to accomplish work and personal goals by reading/ working on a laptop while on your ride.

Good luck.
I'm assuming your job pays well.
Yes. You're spending fifteen hours per week in traffic -- that's two full workdays. Is it worth it?
yes its to long and cause's UN canny stress on you !when your returning home after work i know your tired and then must deal with what ever you have there ,many people drive farther but hey you got to go where the money is, and hope you can shorten it up, just the wear and tear on your Vehicle is enough well sorry you must drive so Far did this for a time and to much on everything and sometimes its not worth it but iam not you so take care
My husband works 8 miles away from home, but it still takes him one hour and twenty minutes to get there and the same back. It's the bane of his life and absolutely hopeless if we want to eat together as a family. It's traffic mostly. Thankfully, it only takes me seven minutes to get to work.
i used to do the same thing
now my commute is 5 mins in a car and my quality of life has trippled
if they arent paying you over 200,000 a year then it aint worth it
find something closer to home you wont regret it
Nope, I live in the UK and work in New York so it takes ages!

When I do use the London office from my home in the midlands 150 miles away I can do door to door in about 1 hour forty mins on the West Coast main line, so you could sell up in Surrey, buy half of Staffordshire and still be in the office in about the same time.
Not dat long. you should visit Lagos, Nigeria. you could take a two hour nap and still have an hour before u get to work.
cool huh!!
Yes it is, you might be able to rearrange your train so that it is a fast(er) service or you arrive in London and can take the tube without any delay. I used to travel from Finsbury Park to Leatherhead and the longest wait was for a train at Victoria.
