Why do people without kids use the parent and child spaces in car parks?? (and also disabled spaces!)?

Whenever i go to Tescos, i park in the parent & child spaces (i take my toddler). Why is it that people without children (or even have kids that are out of car seats) park in those spaces. It always seems to be people that can't be arsed to walk any further than they have to. Those spaces are larger so that we don't dent other peoples cars when we get our babies out of the car (the doors need to be open WIDE to get them out!) They are there for a reason - for people with children/babies that are still in car seats! In my local ASDA they only have 6 spaces for the whole store so you can imagine how angry i get when the spaces are taken up by people who shouldn't be there! It is the same story for disabled spaces. People park in those spaces without the badges, and i've even seen people RUN into the store!

BECAUSE THEY ARE LAZY. IN THE WORLD TODAY EVERYONE IS IN A HURRY SO THEY DO THINGS IN A HURRY. WHEN THEY PARK IN THOSE SPOTS THEY MUST NOT BE THINKING OF THE PEOPLE WHO NEED THEM WHICH MEANS THEY ARE ONLY THINKING OF THEMSELFS. I AM DISABLED BUT I KNOW BECAUSE OF MY MS I WANT TO WALK AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. I PARK AS FAR AS I CAN. ITS SAID HOW PEOPLE ARE BECOMING.
Because they're a**holes.
Wow. we don't even have such a thing here. That would be great to have.
because they think they are more important than everyone else
jerks you have the right to the space what if something happened to you child and you needed to get to your car but then someone had all the spots filled up and you had to go far to get your car!it wrong !
Lots of people are just so self-centered that they believe what they need comes above what others need.
Because they are thoughtless selfish people. They are probably the same people who park their cars in front of lowered pavements - meaning I have to go out of my way just to get to the other side of the street! Oooohhh, you really hit on one of my pet hates here!!
That's ridiculous, and it's a universal occurrence. Plain laziness, insensitivity, and having a feeling that you're privileged or entitled to something because you're 'special' somehow and the paint doesn't apply to you. It's a sick sad world we live in, and this is just one example of it.
oh simmer down those of us w/o kids have to deal with your kids yelling and screaming everywhere we go.
hello there, sorry to hear you have such trouble with your parking space, i have a mobility badge, but doesnt stop me from running into shop. more importantly is the slowest person on the chechouts that are a pain in the butt, and the stupid guy in asda who says hello when you come in.
