Why oh why don't london buses turn the heating off in the height of summer?

Answers:
If you think it's bad for the passengers it's alot worse for the drivers. They've got hot air blasting into them and they sit enclosed in perspex boxes. The mechanics are the villians. The heating controls for the whole bus is at the back where the engine is.. When they finally get round to adjusting it it's winter and then it's the other problem, no warmth, just cold air!
Nice song lol!
so people will pay, feel the heat, and then get off so the buses stay empty
why dont u try telling them?
Funny you ask that. when I was in London years ago, I thought I would die of heat exhaustion on one of the buses! It's nice and cool on American buses.
I know what you mean but I think its actually the engine heat. It'd be nice to get some air con in em all but then again it probably wouldn't be worth it due to the fact that its f-ing freezing every other time of year!
its not just london buses i live in the north east of england and the buses are the same here
The heating is connected up to the engine. If you think it's hot in the main body of the bus, you should try sitting in the Drivers Cab, why do think so meny of them drive with their shirt sleeves rolled up, and the window wide open.
